With a track record of conceiving, curating and editing story ideas into nationally recognized journalism Sines is a natural storyteller; a conceptual thinker, project editor, writer and visual editor. His work has been recognized by the Pulitzer Prize Committee, the University of Missouri, Ohio University, the National Press Photographers Association, the Society for News Design and state press associations in Washington and Tennessee.

Sines has earned a national reputation for recruiting and developing writers, photojournalists and editors. He has hired or mentored photojournalists and writers who have gone on to win the highest journalistic honors including: The Pulitzer Prize, National Photojournalist of the Year, and the highest awards the Society for News Design offers.

He is skilled in managing staff and building processes to meet strategic goals. He is talented and accomplished in identifying, sharpening and delivering messaging across platforms.
