Moises Cervantes is a day laborer. And a farmer. But the drought in Central Mexico forced Moises to leave his home near Celaya, cross the border, and earn enough money to buy seed for the next crop. The San Antonio Express-News followed Moises on his return trip for the planting. His family used donkeys and hand-plows and relied on the weather for moisture.
